| - I am staying here tonight and was ready to write a 5-Star review of this place. Accommodations are nice, the staff started off friendly. I called last night to ask if I could reserve a pack and play. The woman said "no problem, I'll make a note in the system." I reiterated, "so we're good? If I get there and there isn't one available, it's going to be a problem." She reassured me it was fine.
Got here, I was reassured twice that one was on the way. Finally at kid's bedtime, I was told they were out. Just a terse "apology" and telling me "well it's first come first served and we have a lot of families tonight." When I told them what I was told on the phone they said "well I don't know who you talked to but I'll let staff know."
If they're out, they're out, but perhaps a real apology and some percentage off the bill? And perhaps some accurate info in the first place?
ETA: Not complaining, but offering some info for fellow parents. It's not the most kid-friendly place, despite how a place with suites might seem like it would cater to that clientele. The pool starts off 3.5' deepp, too deep for littles to touch, so bring floaties. The food at the complimentary breakfast is kid-friendly, but it's DIY and no visible high chairs. Suggest you bring your own that straps to a chair.
