| - This is only a review about the Jones Kids R Kids. Each location is Independently owned.
This was the first daycare that we took our only son to. We were very nervous about leaving him with outsiders. We read lots of yelp reviews on about 12 daycares, and visited 6. This was our last visit, because after we left, we knew it was the right fit.
Traci, the director, was the one to give us our tour. She was great. One of the first things she said was that our son had a twin at that daycare and mentioned the other boy's name. Ok, maybe some resemblance, but whatever. We went into the infant room, and both teachers said the same thing, again mentioning the other boy's name. All in all, I think 7-8 teachers/staff all knew this other little boy so well, that at first glimpse of my son, saw the resemblance and had his name on the tip of their tongue. To me that said they have a vested interest in the Kids there. Very impressive.
We decided to put our son in the youngest room because he was still on two naps a day and was just starting to walk (9 months). The other room was for very mobile kids around 1 year. When my wife dropped him off the first day, she went to leave him in the infant room, but the toddler room teacher said he would be with them. They were so excited to have him, and he took to them right away.
This review was actually written a long time ago, as my son is now almost 3. I had it saved as a draft, but wanted to continue it and post it. They were so great there in the time our son was there. The only reason he no longer attends is due to our purchase of a home on he other side of town.
Thanks again to everyone here that made us feel at ease leaving our child with others for the first time, and for the great learning and fun that he experienced.
