I was visiting from New York and came to the area on a quest for a wonderful almond croissant. I intended to go to another pastry shop I had read about on Yelp, but to my horror that shop was closed as it is moving to a new location. As I stood there dejected, a pastry vigilante appeared out of nowhere, commiserated with me, and then suggested a great pastry shop just down the street that we could go to instead. He walked us down to this shop, full of every possible size of chocolate Easter bunnies and a case of fresh pastries. I ordered a coffee, a maple croissant, and an almond croissant with chocolate. Everything was good but the almond croissant was a highlight of the trip! The shop itself is charming and quiet and a great place for a casual coffee and pastry break.
