| - As most others have stated, this place has a great concept, but there are holes in the execution.
I also used a groupon or some other coupon for my service, which was a body scrub and a facial. My child was about 21 months at the time. She was watched by the owner and seemed to do very well and was happy with her (which is rare).
But the treatment was disappointing. Firstly, the room was SUPER tiny, so much so that the aesthetician had to move the table at one point -- WITH ME ON IT and without warning!-- to get enough space on one side. The scrub was with an exfoliating glove -- effective for sure, but somehow not what I was expecting. Very invigorating. The facial was lovely and relaxing. The room was also FREEZING cold.
I work in this industry, so I have some insights, for sure, but I really wanted this place to work. Maybe it would be okay for a mani-pedi, or something not tucked in a tiny room where you are trying to relax. I won't go back for an in-room treatment, though. My mom-hours and dollars are too precious, so I will continue to shop around for my rare pampering opportunities!
