Decor, staff and atmosphere of store are all very welcoming. Someone quickly greets you once you enter the store to find you a salesperson to help with anything you might be looking for.
Overall experience was great until after my friend paid and waited for 15 minutes for packaging to be told the store ran out of bags to carryout his delicate purchase. The worst was their alternative option was giving us a reused plastic bag, the ones you get at a supermarket, to carry out his newly purchased gift for his goddaughter. We were clearly upset with the alternative, salesperson kept apologizing and management was no where to be seen. The whole time, the salesperson acted as a messenger between the store manager and us as we try to negotiate better alternatives. In the end, we suggested to the salesperson to keep the purchased gift at the store and notify my friend once the bag inventory is replenished (salesperson said it will take 7 days) so he can get the full experience he should receive as a customer.
End results: My friend got a call on the same day to pick up his gift as they MIRACULOUSLY now have proper store bags for my friends delicate gift purchased.
Conclusion:
1, WASTED CUSTOMER TIME: Management never stepped in to assist with store inadequacy and used salesperson as messenger instead. This prolonged our time to finding better alternatives.
2. POOR MANAGEMENT: Salesperson lack experience in managing customer conflict but management never interfered to ensure customer satisfaction.
The store sells high end jewellery and they clearly are bias to customers purchase value. If your purchase is nominal to what the store can sell to the next customer, you're not likely to experience the same customer service you should receive compared to the customer that's making a larger purchase value than you.
I WILL NOT RETURN OR SUGGEST ANYONE TO VISIT THIS STORE UNLESS THEY HAVE NO OTHER ALTERNATIVES IN THE ENTIRE GTA. There are plenty of alternatives and if you're really desperate, PM me.
