  • I am a retired medical writer, so I know a great doctor when I meet him. That is OB GYN Burt Webb, MD. I had a negative experience a few years ago with another OB GYN who misdiagnosed me. When this other doctor's mistake was revealed, he kicked me out of his practice. Along came Dr. Webb to my rescue. He saw me immediately in his office and had an ultrasound performed right then and there to assure me I was OK. He even stood by me as it was done. He is compassionate and thorough. I saw him this week for a followup and he looked up all my old records on his computer, again reassuring me I was OK. At the end of the visit, he gave me a little hug because he said he did not want me to worry. . His staff is great. Charlotte is a skilled ultrasound tech and Amanda is welcoming and thorough. Front office is proficiant and accommodating. Office wait time was minimal. East to get an appointment. Now for the one-star review of Aug. 16, 2016 from the patient who wanted a phone consult because she had moved to California. Medicine in the USA is not practiced that way. It is her responsibility to have her records forwarded to her new physician. Dr. Webb could in no way advise her on the phone, for professional as well as litigious reasons. Her review sounds hysterical and it is very unfair. I urge her to remove it from the web site because it degrades a fine physician and his staff. Would I recommend Dr. Burt Webb? If you want one of the very best, the answer is yes!
