My Wife arrived at this hotel with a fully paid reservation, including a hard copy of the receipt. Somehow they didn't have the reservation or payment in their records, and refused to accept or try to verify the hard copy receipt.
Once in, the hotel was very dirty. The whole room was sticky, the carpet was really in need of a cleaning , the bathroom had serious mold issue, the fan was inadequate to clear out the moisture (so that it dripped all night) and the phone was gross beyond belief. We won't mention the smell or the spiders. (But do say "Hi!" To Harvey the big black spider in the bathroom!)
The front desk staff was rude and uncooperative- not to mention incompetent. They were even unable to book a shuttle correctly.
After some calls & emails, I did get the double-charge refunded.
