I used Michele (not the owner) for my hair, nails, eyebrows and even pedicure! I have kind of limpy hair so to get volume is really hard. I told her my concerns and she really listened. So much so I took the plunge and got a semi "spa day" with all the above. My nails are naturally kind of short but I have tried the new gel nails and it worked! I HATE ACRYLICS-- the chemicals are really bad for you. But Michele used something that doesn't smell. Actually she seems concerned with ORGANIC and HEALTHY (I never really thought there were salon alternatives). I really hadn't thought of pedicure as part of a beauty regime because I don't tend to "pamper" myself. What I found was that it really shouldn't be considered pampering because of the foot massaging (and calves) which make me feel very relaxed and relieves my stress. As far as personality, I personally don't like salon people that just talk and talk with no real purpose. Sometimes that chair can feel like your trapped! :-) But I enjoyed her personality too--I've been back and plan to continue. Recently they moved just down the street but I made sure to find them! She is reasonable with her prices. I try to tip well cause she seems to be worth it and I have come to appreciate a job well done. Who said beauty is only skin deep? :-)
