I am a Gold Plus member. I Had a reservation booked for 5 days at an already very expensive rate. When we got to the counter, I had to wait for 30 minutes just to get service. Then we found out that we had to wait at least a 1.5-2 hours for our vehicle. With 3 little kids in tow there was no way we could wait. We went to another rental counter that had cars available and cancelled our Hertz reservation. Hertz was blaming the situation on the construction going on at the airport but if that was the case, how were we successful getting a car from the other agency?
