There is a flaw in the latest Chipotle app that automatically assumes your nearest location rather than your default location. I even selected "use most recent location" and it still sent it to the wrong place. What a convenient thing to have happen when you work 30 minutes away and try to quickly order some dinner near home after a 10 hour day. I called about it immediately. The incorrect location's manager kindly told me to just show them what happened and go pick up my meal. I called the correct location to explain and was told to go home and write corporate, and that I'd have to pay for my already paid for meal again if I still wanted anything. Fortunately, the manager at the other location called them and convinced them do the right thing, but when we went to pick it up after being told to do so "this one time only" we were embarrassingly nearly turned away with instructions from another employee that nothing could be done without additional payment (even with a receipt!) and to write corporate for my money back again. My family and I came here often but will never again. Apparently that happens a lot - yeah, because your app is overly presumptuous and that's no one's fault but lovely corporate's who you tell us to go draft a letter to collect our money back from, with no food that was paid for unless a manager is forced by another to take action or you're willing to just pay double and take time out of a stressful enough day to go online and write a plea to be approved for your $13 back.
