  • After wasting four hours of my life at a Genius Bar where I was chastised for adding memory to my MacBook Air and told that I had basically corrupted my laptop beyond repair and that Apple wouldn't touch it, in a last desperate attempt to resurrect it, I was guided to Century 23. Ron was cheerful, helpful and hopeful, assessed the situation and laughed when I told him what the Geniuses at Apple had advised. He had it working in no time, and didn't even charge me the full hourly rate as a minimum! He and the owner both explained exactly what had happened, why it happened, and what I need to do in the future to prevent it from happening again, as well as recommending new ways to back up data and to call if I have any questions or problems with it later. It is so refreshing and encouraging to know there are still professionals out there who actually take pride in their work and aren't there to gouge you when you're at your lowest, most desperate moment. These guys are techie Gods among mere mortals, working on Macs before most Geniuses were born.... there's no comparison, and even though I'm from out of town, I'll gladly ship my laptop to them before I'll hand it over to a Genius at any Apple Store, no matter what city I'm in... They saved my computer, which in the business of traveling for a living is my lifeblood, and for that, I am eternally grateful. Century 23 ROCKS! :)
