Camp 4 is a long narrow space with a couple of chairs and tables up front. The rest of the galley is occupied by the bar. When entering Camp 4 on a Friday night it's important to enter it strategically, keeping in mind that space is to Camp 4 what water is to the planet Arrakis in the 1965 sci-fi Dune. If you don't understand that reference don't go to Camp 4 tonight, just stay in and read the book. If you have, you may continue reading this review.
The rare tables up front will already be conquered by those strange people who go out before 11pm on weekends, so don't waste your time on them. Your opportunity lies in what I like to call the "L" territory-- that glorious base of the bar that offers just enough room for the DJ to tuck in with his records and a few people to gather round and actually face each other.
Cool place, but the music is too loud to have a relaxed conversation, and the place is too small to dance. That said the music was good and I was in good company, and the crowd seemed to be cool and friendly.
If you and your posse take over the whole bar, or the DJ is your bestie, or you go on a night that's not quite as busy, this bar could be a 4-star for you.
