I had an hour in between meetings and needed dinner. I found Le Baratin on a Google map near my next activity, so I decided to book a table and try it out. The menu has a number of French cafe standards as well as three specials of the day: appetizer, catch and carnivore/meat
I had the appetizer of the day - smoked salmon ravioli in a lobster sauce. I then ordered the carnivore of the day special- a beef cheek bourguignon. I then looked at the dessert menu even though I didn't need dessert...the days offer was a pear/marzipan tart that was delicious.
Good portions and well crafted food.
