  • We had a terrific experience! Got there when it opened- and used the 4$ off coupon from subway. They also have 4$ off military if you buy it from Luke Air Force base in advance. We saw so many exotic birds and were so close to the animals! You will never find another zoo like this. The staff seemed to really care for the animals, and it didn't smell like a dirty animal like the phoenix zoo. Plus it was twice the size!! So much to do and to see. We fed the giraffe, lorry birds, and took pictures with all the animals. The peacocks were beautiful! We even got to pet the sting rays- and star fish! Thanks for a great time- my little 6 year old will never forget it!
