  • We've lived down the street from here for three years now and finally decided to have breakfast here. I don't know why we waited so long! We came early enough, so there was no large crowd. We were greeted by our server Krys who was nice enough to go over the menu with us and she recommended the Country fried steak and the Red Velvet pancakes. First off, the pancakes were so good. Light and super savory. It was like eating cake. Cake that had an awesome cream cheese syrup! Krys also mentioned that the Country Fried Steak was life changing, she was right! The Country Fried Steak is the best I've ever had hands down! I'm a big fan of Cracker Barrel and Rise and Shine just blew it out of the water! The steak was so tender with a light coat of breading that has a hint of spice. My wife had order envy and vowed to get it next time. Next time may be coming up very soon! Excellent breakfast spot in Southern Highlands that has a nice warming atmosphere with a great staff that truly love being there. Highly recommended!
