We usually stay at Hampton Inns during our travels because of the consistency and quality of the place. This one is no exception. Comfy beds, nice water pressure on the showers, and yes, fresh baked cookies last night. Breakfast was standard Hampton fare - nothing unusual there - but the staff was really friendly and even made my husband a waffle.
The service for the price makes it a great value. Yes, we've stayed at "nicer" places (we always stay at the Omni in San Diego for my birthday), but for the money, Hampton can't be beaten. And because this is just a regular hotel chain, no one is snobby. I hate dropping $400 a night at a "fancy" place only to be greeted with a holier-than-though attitude. Hampton knows what it is, and doesn't pretend to be more.
