To Loblaws Employees on 585 Queen St. West:
I am giving it 2 stars because of their staff. I have not been happy with their staff more than once. I have gone there a few times and sometimes people have bad days. But every single time their staff was rude, obnoxious, like they are some sort of Gods. Seriously??? You work at a store where customer service should be excellent. There are a ton grocery stores (cheaper) and local stores there, and if your staff keeps being rude, people will stop coming.
Let me give you an example. I parked underground. Got the ticket. Shopped. Produce was not very fresh. Fish seemed good. To get the person who works at meats & fish department took forever. And the attitude I got. I mean - kids work there. And kids give attitudes. Fine. I got my fish and walked away. Got to the front. Had over 100 dollars worth of groceries. Paid. Got my parking ticket validated. Got downstairs. Ticket wasn't working. I went upstairs to let them know and they are like you need to pay for it. So I show them the receipt and they are telling me I was never there. I go to management. I speak to them. She wants to give me money for the parking ticket. I was like I don't want the money, just validate my card so I can get out of there. Then I got attitude. I simply asked why is it so hard to validate the card? Or to be nicer? So I called the security. They unlocked the gate to get out.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK.
Rude. Unfriendly. Obnoxious.
If you don't like your job, quit. Find something else. Or change the way you think about your job. I don't know what else to tell you.
