  • As a vaper (a.k.a. e-cigarettes), I'm glad there are finally decent vape shops in Canada -- and I can finally review them. I've been vaping for about 3 years -- and it's been a struggle for Canadians. Unlike the US (in areas like California - there's nearly a vape shop every few blocks), uptake has been slow here. The other problem is Canadian legislators have been moving to ban/restrict cigarette alternatives - making vaping in Canada the wild west. Finally, up until recently, Canadian brick & mortar (B&M) vape shops have exploited the information gap by charging outrageous mark-up and moving inferior product. As such, I keep my mailman and Canadian customs busy by doing most of my vape purchasing online. Or you had to prowl at various flea markets when Canadian-based online vape stores did a pop-up. So -- it was a huge relief to see a shop like E-CIGARETTES.CA pop up (okay ya -- the name/branding leaves something to be desired). It's in the 2nd floor walkway on a non-descript office building on Yonge near Eglinton - so you will easily miss it if you're looking street level. Great selection of hardware and the prices on are competitive with online prices (case in point, I saved about $3 on on battery that I had to wait 2 weeks to get shipped from Asia than the price here). Also, this is not the garbage you see on sale at convenience stores and smoke shops. I came here to pick up some Jugheads juice (one of best gourmet 'e-liquid' makers I've tried -- made in Canada to boot!). At about $5+tax per 10mL when buying 3 bottles, the prices are extremely good for a B&M shop and there's a bar where you can sample all the flavours before you buy. Finally, this isn't one of those 'vape bros' joints - Albert was very helpful and friendly. While I was sampling the various flavours he had for sale, he walked a 1st time vaper on how to use and maintain his new hardware. Overall - great selection of products at very competitive prices with helpful staff at a convenient location -- will be back.
