  • This is an update to my last review... The last review giving 5 stars was based on our first visit in. This is based on the whole experience. So we went in and yes Jose was very attentive in "making the sale". However after that it seemed no so much. We went through the process on a Sunday 10/15 and was told he would give us a call on Friday of that week to let us know the status of the furniture. We waited patiently.... Friday came and went.. The weekend did too. Finally on Wednesday day 10 of waiting we were told the furniture was marked as "loading" and told he would call us again on Friday to tell us delivery day. Again Friday came and still no word. Husband called him to find out and we were told our furniture is "loading" still. After another week of waiting and the husband calling again we were told that because of the fires in California our furniture is delayed... Ok we get it, we understood. It wasn't a reflection on them but the manufacturer.. No stars are taking off for that. The stars are taking off for the following: 1. When we went in on the first visit. Jose stated that if we write a review we would get a free memory foam pillow when the guys delivered. We never got that. He claims he doesn't remember saying that. 2. Lack of communication with us on our our furniture. He told us he would call just to give us an update yet he we got 2 calls from him. 1 month it took to get our furniture and we had to call him weekly. (If you tell someone you will call by Friday do it. We understand you get busy. But us having to call and remind you is not acceptable) 3. He apologized for the service and said he would have his delivery guys bring us a gift card for the trouble. 2 days later when our furniture came in. We received a call from him telling us the delivery guys would be at our house within 20 minutes. That was at 10am they showed up at 12 noon. He told us he forgot to get the gift card and to have my husband come in on Saturday to pick up since Our furniture was brought on a Friday. So lets talk delivery now. Goergie and Jonathan.. Jonathan was very friendly Georgie not so much. When they were bringing in the furniture you could hear them banging it against the walls and staircase Georgie was very impatient and wanted me to hurry up and decide where I wanted the furniture. Jonathan had to tell him to calm down and wait because I was telling them where I wanted it. (Set up was included with the delivery fee) after being rushed Georgie had me sign the damage waiver which on my part was my fault. I assumed because the plastic coating was still on the table that it wasn't scratched. It was. Again my fault for not checking. But upsetting. It was from them cutting the padding off that caused the scratch. And finally 4. The hubby went in on Saturday like he was told and he told Jose about the furniture not because we wanted something but to say hey let them be more careful. But instead was met with "well you shouldn't have signed the waiver." Also the gift card he pushed off for 2x already was told he didn't have them and to come back on Monday and the pillow that was promised for a review "he didn't remember" so basically he just bullcrapped us like all salesmen. Attentive for the sale but not attentive enough to keep the customer. Its not about the gift card or pillow its the principle of what is promised and not given. I understand the month wait was due to the manufacturer. Its his lack of staying informed with us that was disappointing.
