I was a loyal customer until they charged me a late fee for an error on their side and then went on to argue with me like I had committed some sort of felony.
I ordered the car for 3 pm and the car showed up an hour early when I hadn't finished packing. After telling the dispatcher about the error, I finished packing and went down 10 minutes later. The driver took me to the airport then promptly handed me the credit card machine with an amount over and above what I was originally quoted. When I questioned the charge, he told me about the late fee and told me to call dispatch and argue my case with them.
The dispatcher I talked to was basically a thug and started arguing with me on the spot. He then went and got the original dispatcher i talked to who flat out told me that I had not told him about the error. In the end I didn't tip the driver and paid the late fee - something I still regret because the driver wasn't at fault. These people are crooks with 0 customer service and will not hesitate to call you a liar over a few measly dollars.
I've been more than happy taking Uber ever since who quickly take the blame and reimburse any extra charges incurred due to errors on thier behalf. Do yourself a favour and avoid this service at all costs. The last thing you need before taking a long flight is to deal with penny pinching unorganized thugs like these people.
