If I could give the staff a 6 I would because they've all have been exceptional from the front desk, to the maintenance guy who I just happened to snag for a lid for a coffee to go cup, to the shuttle driver.
The rooms however are dated. I'm okay with that. Bathroom is tiny but big fluffy towels with strong water pressure and hot water. The lightbulbs in entire room however are DIM. And I mean DIM. Annoyingly so. The air conditioner unit is per room and NOISY but at least mine worked well. My fridge was tiny and was a real fridge and not a "cooler" so you could actually freeze something if you so desired. No microwave which sucks as I like hot chocolate at night. Since we are Diamond members we got vouchers for the free breakfast buffet. It's okay but certainly nothing to write home about. No omelette bar or made to order eggs and my husband who likes extra crispy bacon just sighed and did without. The steel cut oatmeal was made properly at least. Nice and thick, not watered down. Would have been nice if they had a shaker of cinnamon to go with it but we travel enough we actually bring our own. Pool was nicer than I expected. Heated. Nice because it gets rather cool at night so a warm pool in the morning is awesome. I was on the highway side and could hear the traffic but the noise from walkways was louder. I'm thinking if I was by the pool with its 12 PM closing time it would have been louder yet at least until 12 PM.
