  • My wife and I dined at the Different Pointe of View restaurant, located on the property of Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, on Saturday evening July 23, 2016 AD. I apologize for the late review. It was our first wedding anniversary and I wanted to pull-out all the stops! I wanted an elegant restaurant, fantastic cuisine, top-notch service and a view of the sunset and city lights that would memorialize the evening forever! I +highly recommend+ this restaurant for anniversaries and other super-special occasions! You will want to dress-to-the-nines - bare minimum would be a suit, collared shirt or vest with tie and slacks. Be sure to book reservations as far in advance as you can! They have valet parking so be sure to bring some cash for the tip. Valet is the only way to go for a night like this! Bring a decent camera - the valet should offer to take a photo of you and your party next to a beautiful fountain as you enter. Gorgeous! The hostess told me when I booked the reservation that she couldn't guarantee a window seat, but that I could arrive 30 minutes early, check-in and they could work on a window seat then. That is exactly what we did and only had to wait 10 minutes. IT WAS WORTH IT! I also told the hostess when I made the reservation, that it was our first wedding anniversary and requested any special treatment they offered. When we arrived at our table, we had two glasses of champagne to greet us! Perfect! Our server was awesome and the food was spectacular! It is a 5-star restaurant with 5-star pricing. It was well worth it and we will be back in the future to celebrate special events with our family! After dinner we walked to the Terrace Room lounge, one level below the Different Pointe of View restaurant, and went outside to look at the city lights. The lounge is nice and would be a great place to relax before or after dinner. The hostess and staff of the Different Pointe of View restaurant could not have been better! I will proudly recommend this establishment to all of my family and friends! Keep up the great work! Thank you for making our first wedding anniversary truly memorable! A solid 5-stars!
