Wildflower was too crowded for lunch so I decided to to have a cupcake instead - don't judge me.
It was difficult to decide as there so many different things to try. I decided on the Salted Caramel and it was fantastic! I love a cupcake with lots of frosting (I still think it was one of my happiest days finding out that Sprinkles has frosting shots.). This salted caramel had a lot of frosting but did not overwhelm the cupcake. The cupcake was surprisingly tinder and certainly moist.I actually ate the cupcake when I usually just eat the frosting.
The owner was there and she is friendly, warm and certainly knows what she's doing. She talked about the special ingredients of the cupcake, her shop. It's nice to see an owner take such pride in her business. And you can see the kitchen and it was spotless!
Skip the mass made flavorless desserts at Wildflower and instead, get a great dessert here.
