| - Opening day, 6:00pm --- 1 hour later, after standing in crazy line in ridiculous Carolina heat and humidity, I finally make it into the air conditioned, modernly decorated, well staffed Pinkberry located in the Philips Place plaza.
Pinkberry handled the crowd well, handing out samples of original and watermelon froyo, and cups of cold water, to the sweating crowd. Staff was beyond nice and cheery (of course they're trying to impress the opening day crowd), and they brought reinforcements from their LA locations, really.
Froyo was tart and a tad icier than I like it, but still very good. Fruits were fresh and plentiful. Serving area was tidy despite the amount of traffic. Freaked out for a sec when I didn't see any moichi, but after a simple inquiry, it was brought out. Phew. Waffle cookie thing was a nice touch.
Order by size and choose your topping (or multiple for extra).
Pinkberry is not my favorite (Yogurtland self-serve FTW), but it's a nice reminder of home. Pomegranate and Watermelon flavors are the best.
