High expectations met with sad food. We ordered the grilled tempeh, jalapeno bites, and the district bowl. The establishment did not look too busy but the dishes took quite a while to come in. Texture, temperature of the food, price, and all around quality was not up to par with my expectations (or blog review I read about this new restaurant).
Food was cold. I could have made much better (creative and tasty) food at home. District Eatery is not worth a repeat visit, or better yet, avoid it.
We waited for the bill just as long as we did for the food.
Note: The restaurant is extremely loud, and dark (unlike their super bright street sign).
