| - Not the best sushi I've ever had, but it definitely hit the spot. Enjoyed their Big Al's Yellowtail and Tuna and Avocado-tini appetizers. Also loved their Spicy Tuna Roll. Spicy tuna is one of my favorite rolls, so I order it at every sushi restaurant I go to. Usually the tuna is diced up into tiny pieces and mixed with some sort of spicy mayo sauce. At Cowfish, the tuna wasn't diced up, and I think I actually prefer it that way! I probably wouldn't order their sashimi again though. It was good, but not the best quality and the pieces were sliced too thick and big (which can be seen as a good thing to some).
It was a little weird to me to have both sushi and burgers on the same menu, but I think they pulled it off as well as possible. We tried the All-American Bacon Double Cheeseburgooshi. It didn't have any raw fish in it, or fish at all for that matter, but it was all of the components of a cheeseburger in the shape of sushi. It was pretty good.
I couldn't decide which dessert I wanted to get, so I ordered two. That was a mistake... they were GINORMOUS! I enjoyed their chocolate torte, and my husband preferred their berry tall cake. I thought the pound cake in the latter was a little dry, though the multiple scoops of ice cream helped with that.
I would definitely come here again. Make sure you take a look at the cowfish in their tank on the way out!
