  • Carrie (box office) saved the day!!!! My wife and I anxiously handed our tickets to the ticket taker at the door. We were excited to see Steve Martin and Martin Short in Concert at the Benedum. The ticket taker scanned and scanned our tickets but nothing happened. My wife was already passed the ticket taker and they gently asked her to come out of the theater side. We were told that we would have to go to the box office to get our tickets reissued because they wouldn't scan. The young man at the box office tried to get them to scan but to no avail. He reissued and reprinted the tickets and wished us well! We returned to the ticket takers and suddenly a nice young lady, named Carrie, came out of the box office door and stopped us in our tracks! She informed us our tickets were for the next nights performance. We were very disappointed since we had traveled quite a ways. She said "let me check". As it turned out a company that bought a block of tickets backed out. We were place in great tickets and a couple of rows closer. She could of said"oh well". But she didn't, she needs to be recognized for going the extra mile!
