We went here with friends tonight. We had heard good things about this place and decided to try it. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. It was ok, a bit too soggy and too spicy for our tastes. 3 of us ordered the $5.00 cocktails which were very very weak. Ok, don't panic it is called " pizza Rock", so let's wait to fully judge until we have the pizza. One of our friends ordered the Caesar salad. She enjoyed it and it had the wonderful white anchovies. Another friend enjoyed the spaghetti with meatballs. Now my wife and I were quite excited for the pizza to arrive. We had ordered the " chicago style " meat pizza. The description said it had a thin crust, which surprised my wife and I because we have been to Chicago many times and " chicago style" pizza that we have always enjoyed is a deep dish pizza, but we were game and ready to try their interpretation of " chicago style" pizza. My wife and I have had pizza all over the world, and without a doubt, this was the WORST pizza we have ever had. The crust was very similar in consistency to a dry saltine cracker. Very sparse cheese and even more limited meat. The total bill with tip came to just over $100.00 so the food wasn't bargain priced. The awful pizza was $23.00. Will not be going back. Pizza rock....sank.
