I stayed here three nights for a conference and was really impressed with this hotel.
Everything is modern and attractive. I asked for a room with a nice view and ended up on the top floor with a good look at the CN Tower and Lake Ontario. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The carpet in the room was soft and felt much better than typical hotel floors. The bed was extremely comfortable with a fluffy down blanket (I think it was down).
The gym was well-appointed with tall ceilings. I didn't get a chance to swim but poked my head in and it looked like a nice pool with a hot tub on the side. The pool is in the spa area which is well decorated and there was a friendly lady behind the counter who gave me a free razor.
I locked myself out of my room (first time ever, I swear) and I only had to wait about a minute for a friendly security person to let me in.
The only pet peeve I had was that you had to book an executive level room in order to get access to the lounge, regardless of your status with IHG. I got in on a Sunday night and wasn't able to go to the lounge and there was nowhere in the hotel that I could grab some snacks or a bottle of water so they suggested I walk around the corner to a convenience store. Given how nice everything else is here, it'd be nice to have the option to grab something besides the $5 candy bars in the room.
