I've been to several events here and never been treated so rude as i was yesterday. My daughter and I arrived about 2:45 for the 12 Days of Giving event. She was to perform 4:30- 5:30 but we wanted to see other friends perform.
When we arrived the lady asked if we would be dining and I said yes. We also need a table for 4 as friends would be joining. When we sat down the waitress came over and gave us menus. I said we would be waiting for our friends to arrive before ordering. About 15 minutes later our friends arrived.
The waitress asked if we were ready to order. No not yet they literally just sat down. A little bit later a woman who I presume was the manager came over and told us if we didn't order we had to move. Ok first of all the rest of our table had just arrived a few minutes before. I explained to her we were going to order but just not yet. She was extremely rude and said again if you don't eat you have to move. I explained AGAIN we are going to eat quit rushing us! Wow! We were mortified! She said they needed it for reservations. There was- at any given time 3-5 available tables. At no time were they all full. Busy but never full.
Any how we ordered food and it was subpar. My friends gumbo looked more like dog food and was not even edible. During that time our daughters were performing on stage. They KNEW we had 2 other people at the table but moved together 2 tables for a party of 8 that was so close to ours my daughter could not even sit down after coming off stage.
Then a different waiter came over and said it was shift change and he had our check. Well a) we specifically asked for separate checks and b) I still planned on ordering for my kid so was not ready to close out my bill! He was very nice and I definitely do not blame him for the mixup.
Anyhow we were leaving soon and someone put a "reserved" tag on the table. Again with the rushing! Sad to say that unless my daughter has another event there I will not be back. It's sad because I actually liked this venue but this was the rudest thing I've ever experienced.
