The Foundation has a lot of programs to try and keep animals, alive, in their homes, or constantly working to get them adopted or into Foster homes. I had found the organization mostly through social media and followed them there. Eventually went in to try out fostering an animal in need. Went in on a Thursday to pick up a young cat (1yr 7M) that was dropped off by a family of 3 with "no time" for him. The facility was quite busy at 3pm. I think they were having an open event, or discounted services at that time. Shortly after bringing home the cate, he had to go back for some booster shots, and the facility was super quiet. The Foundation provided us with some supplies like food and litter to get us started, and from there we provided the cat with more things to feel at home. Its been a great experience so far. Been Fostering for about a month and would consider taking this on again to help the community and save lives. I have felt that the Foster Counselor has been very communicate through emails, and phone calls and has always made sure our questions are answered. I would recommend the Animal Foundation if you are looking for a pet to adopt, have NO choice but to surrender a pet, or for discounted or free services for your pet.
