My kids had a good experience here, followed by a bad experience.
I had two of my kids together in an acting class here. Before the class was over, I asked the front desk if the next class is filling up or can I wait to sign up. She said it doesn't usually fill up and that the school figures out whether the class will run the beginning of the week of new classes. If there are less than 3 kids the class doesn't run.
They finished their first class, had their show, and felt really good about it. I emailed the director, Karen, the beginning of the week new classes were to start to say that the two would like to continue and possibly their sibling (third child) was considering. We had a couple back and forth emails about the third child taking the class or not including the day before class was to start.
My two kids (that I said were going to take the class) were very excited about the play their class was going to do. We show up the day of class, which is a half hour away, and I tell the front desk that I would like to pay. The answer I get is that the class is full and we are not registered. Wow. Hold on. I ask to speak to Karen as we had been emailing up until the day before and at no point did she indicate that the class was full or that she hadn't included the other two children in the class. I had to drive a half-hour to find this out. My poor kids standing their excited and pondering the possibilities of the class they were going to join, and no accommodations could be made and no real apology. Just a really bad customer service experience. I was excited to find this place, and now sad that we can't be part of it because of this experience. Overall very disappointed.
