Husband and I went to see Tina Martini a few weeks ago, and we had a good time. I was so happy to see someone cook healthy food that wasn't a stick figure like most nutritionists are. She wasn't fat, but she looked healthy and great. The woman definitely looked like she actually ate food, which was refreshing. They gave us a nice watermelon martini that I actually liked when we got in, which considering I hate all sweet drinks is a miracle in itself.
For food, she served a cajun oven fried chicken with twice baked potatoes. My husband, who hates broccoli, ate the baked potatoes up even though there was broccoli in it. Thank god there's a way I can sneak in the healthy vegetables for him now. I was also amazed at how good Tina made veganaise (grapeseed oil mayo) taste for the sauce for the chicken.
The topper was not having to wait in the enormous line to get into the buffet, we were seated in the VIP section that I didn't know existed in the buffet with a really great view. This is important, because the line for the buffet has been known to take over two hours.
