I always check-in early to avoid the long queue and surge of departing travellers rushing to get-in. Many kiosks were free. I've always preferred counter check-in for a one time stop, however, this lady ushered me to the kiosk. Oh well... i'm quite an easy person to convince so i relented. She seems to be rushing me that she was telling what to press even before i finish reading what's on screen. I looked behind me, thinking i was holding up a line but NADA! I checked the other kiosks and their vacant! Man!!! What's the rush!? I come early to take my time! After all that rush... the kiosk had problems reading the credit card, so she told me to check-in at the counter. What!!!???
At the counter, i was the only one at the nag drop-off area/counter. The receptionist must be having a bad day! She was snooty and indifferent! She wasn't even making eye contact and dismissively pointed to the bag drop-off. She spoke in a mumbling tone that i had to ask her to pls repeat what she said. She brushed me off and said "wait". What the...?! She proceeded to talk to someone who appears to be her senior and they seem to be pre-occupied with something else. Whatever it was...she could've just answered me and i would've been on my way. After waiting a while, i just gave-up and looked for someone to answer me. Thank goodness, a Westjet CS simply and pleasingly pointed the way.
