  • Love this place- and it doesn't hurt that it's a block from my office! Shorty's is a simple sandwich shop that never goes wrong. The sandwiches are huge, bread is always fresh and they do not skimp on ingredients. Best part is the price is just right. Sandwiches run around $5.50 and the most you will pay is $8.00 (The Phoenix which has everything on it!). Service is also great here. I have never been in when any of the counter people didn't have a smile and quick to help. Overall this is a must try sandwich stop!
