Pretty decent tart froyo in the middle of nowhere. We were in the mood for tart froyo after visiting Red Rock casino and good ol' Yelp popped up this place and didn't disappoint.
The area looks like it used to be the Vegas desert but then had a zillion houses pop up with the housing boom and then it all slowed down. So Tart is in a brand new strip mall that is barely built out and feels like a ghost town. The place itself is cute and has similar hip/cutesy decor as other SF Bay Area froyo places.
They had a couple of flavors and we tried two of them:
1) Original tart - decent, very lemony, rather icy
2) Blueberry - this was the tastier of the two and the clear winner. More smooth than the original tart.
The high school girl working there was just hanging out with her 3 Gossip Girl friends at one of the tables when not helping customers. Looks like they barely get 20 customers a day.
Bottom line: Good froyo for a ghost town part of the Vegas outskirts. A bit expensive at $4.95 for a medium w/o topping. Hope their business can survive.
