Stopped in to try something made by this new brewery. The only thing they had left was a Kolsch, which I was helpfully informed "is a type of beer". Thanks for the hot tip. After tasting it (eh), I went with an extra special bitter made by another brewery. That was alright. There are plenty of 'guest beers' to choose from- most from Wisconsin (as it should be, dammit)- if you don't like what One Barrel has to offer. I wish there would have been more than one beer made on-site to try. The food menu did not really appeal to me- nothing really stood out. The bar is a nice dark wood and the stools are arranged to make it easy to grab one and sit. I love the exposed brick and open feel to the place. There is a hipster vibe, which was off-putting. Yeah, the fixed-gear bicycle on the wall. So very hip. Yeahhh... whatev. However, I'll stop back in for sure, because I do like beer. I wonder if they have wi-fi...
