| - How do I sum up shopping at Aldi's? Well for starters I can get fresh produce, cheese, eggs, bread, meat, other household products and the list goes on and on, while spending a fraction of what I would at other grocery stores. So I am a fan, a huge one at that.
I guess the only negative about Aldi's, in my opinion, is also one of the positives things about Aldi's, in my opinion. They often have some great products that I fall in love with, like some gourmet cheese, or some champagne vinegar salad dressing. But when I come back these items are nowhere to be found so that's the positive and the negative. Also they tend to run out of things that I need like Artisan Lettuce or red onions forcing me to go elsewhere. Just the other day they had no shredded cheese. I mean none! Ugh not cool I was shopping to make Mac n cheese. Well fortunately they had plenty of block cheese and I just had to shred it on my own.
I know some people hate the whole bring your own bags, and use a quarter to get a shopping cart but to me this is just smart business procedures. Keep your overhead low and pass on the savings to your customers. Despite some small drawbacks of shopping here I will be a customer for life.
