  • I called here the Thursday before Mother's Day to have some flowers sent to my Mommie's job. I remembered this place from growing up as it is right near our church, Friendship. The original owner, Mr. Geraldo Stroud, was the fabulous organ player at our church for many years until his passing. I believe the shop is still owned by his family. The mom and pop feel is definitely apparent in the excellent service I received. When I called, I didn't really know what I wanted and I was trying to track my Mommie down to figure out where she was going to be for the day as she often telecommutes. The representative on the phone was kind and patient while I figured everything out and was able to put together a beautiful arrangement for my budget. She also delivered the arrangement in the time promised (one hour!!) to my mom's job. Which for the short notice I gave her was beyond amazing! Before she even got to her office, her coworkers were calling her to tell her about the beautiful flowers that awaited her. She sent me a picture (which I will share) and they were absolutely gorgeous. I will certainly use Strouds in the future and will recommend them for their stellar product and service.
