Stopped by here twice on our alcohol-fueled Toronto weekend getaway. Another cool space, dark with red lighting. The very front of the place has several couches. A little further back was a cramped space with the stage, viewing/dancing area with a long bar down the side. There's also a back room with tables and more seating away from the live act that leads to a patio space for the smokers.
The crowd was a bit younger, but our 30 something posse still fit in.
We stopped in late on a Friday and were treated to a great set by a local punk/metal act. I specifically remember a great angst-ridden cover of Sympathy for the Devil ... fist pumping and angry dancing ensued.
Saturday was crowded, but with a much different vibe. Saturday's act featured a 80s cover band. I could never figure out if they were trying to be ironic or if they were just strokes. Drinks were reasonably priced and featured decent pours (something we consistenty struggled to find North of the border).
This seemed to be a great place to end of the evening. There was a $5 cover both evenings.
