| - I signed up for the rewards program and while online I searched for in theater dining experience and up pops AMC east on Signal Butte. FYI. There is no food here for dine in experience. Anyways, I stood in the ticket line for 14 minutes while one slow employee worked through the growing line of anxious customers. AMC bought this theater and put a new face on it, but some things don't change. I then got in line for snacks and thank goodness I did the premium rewards program. It gives head of line privileges, but it still took me nearly 22 minutes to order and get a warm food item. In fact it took 11 minutes just to get a sandwich made. The regular line had 32 people in it with 1 open register. Customers were missing their movies and started to openly complain and finally another employee came out to open a second line, but only after one customer told him to do so. Now, the chicken and waffle s sandwich was small, but awesome to eat. The hot caramel popcorn was tasty but really expensive. Theater was clean and a bar is coming to the location, but they got to bring more food in and hire more staff. There were 3 employees working inside. Harkins will have 30. We always go to Roadhouse Cinema, but wanted to try this location since it is really close. Might be a cool place for a quick movie, but come at least 90 minutes early as to get through the long lines and the minimal employee assistance. Also get some more mature employees. While young kids are affordable, the lack of maturity and business focus was obvious. The looks on their faces when handling upset customers was priceless. If the person taking all the complaints was a manager, might want to invest conflict resolution training and perhaps not dressing them like the cook. Coming back tomorrow, but this experience started off really shaky due to extensive lines and wait for food. When you have the cashier doing the food too, it really slows everything down. I did the normal digital screenings and sound quality was great and the recliners were small, but comfortable. If you even converted even on or two theaters into a dining experience, this could be a hidden gem. Fix the lines and set a customer experience to "fun" and watch the business grow!
