  • We had sautillo tile installed in the main part of the house. We used them because they had done previous work for us and did an excellent job at matching the existing tile. The two installers who laid the tile were excellent and it looked beautiful...then the finisher came to seal the tile and it was so unbelievably awful. She basically ruined our tile with some chemical that was so toxic that we had to remove our dogs and our neighbors could smell it two doors down for a week. It was splashed on and it was oil based. We thought we were going to have to get it jack hammered up. I would include pictures if I could. I was in tears...basically our house was ruined. Luckily, we found a guy that worked on it for a day and it is not as good as it was but we can live with it.
