| - There are lots of nail salons in the Crowfoot area, but I decided to try out Magic Nails as it looked clean and organized when I popped by to book an appointment for a pedicure.
I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and was seated in a large, comfortable massage chair with foot basin, and offered a bottle of water. I noticed that all of the other chairs were occupied- it seems to be a popular place. After soaking my feet the nail technician clipped, filed, buffed, exfoliated and massaged my feet to perfection. Everything was painless and the service itself was gentle. My nails were nicely polished with base and top coats, plus two layers of OPI polish. They also offer nail art and fake nails, but I wanted something simple.
The cost of my pedicure was $42. They don't take Mastercard, so bring a Visa, debit card or cash.
(Aside: Half an hour before they closed, two women popped their heads in and asked if they would "fit in" pedicures. Uncool. No employees should feel obligated to stay late on Saturday evening so that you can get a last-minute pedicure... and don't assume that the technicians are empowered enough to say no to your request.)
