Q the new director of personal training (not sure of his official title) is wonderful. He will give you a solid workout, is always nice, and seems like he really cares about the establishment. I have been to other LA fitness' since the take over and they sure are fancy! This one isn't as nice as those but it has a lot going for it. I love that they have a seniors population that frequent it. It is never very busy so you can get on the equipment you want. It doesn't feel like a meat market, the usuals are always respectful. I use the fancy LA fitness for spin class, but drive here to use the weights. I have grown to like it. The only change I dislike is that they turned the stretching/free weight area into a personal training only zone. That means they moved the stretching mat to right I front of the men's locker room and glass wall. I don't enjoy bending over and stretching anymore. It's awkward for this big booty gal.
