I have to admit that I come and go with my yoga phases. Why? I have no idea because I always leave Zuzana's yoga classes with an indescribable feeling of peace and energy. I know it sounds cheesy because I am no yogi, I'm more of a boot camp cardio junkie, but it's true.
I remember when I started a few years ago, I just didn't get it. And then I took my first class with Zuzana in 2008 and, I swear, it completely changed my outlook on yoga. Her classes are amazing.
She is able to challenge me (an advanced-beginner at best) as well as the truly talented advanced students in her classes, all without making me feel like an idiot when I nearly topple over while trying a move that's clearly out of my league. :) Instead she gives me encouragement for trying. And she makes it all look so darn easy. When I can't make it to class, Zuzana has a great flow yoga DVD that I enjoy doing.
I love Zuzana's positive, peaceful energy...she's just completely genuine both as a person and an instructor. She's not up there to show off (yes, I've had those yoga teachers), she's up there to guide your practice and she does it with amazing grace.
