| - I bought my car from Toyota Autonation. My first visit there the car drove terribly (I told the salesman I was ready to buy it, but I could tell it had been sitting parked in the hot vegas sun too long for a few weeks. If the mechanics on site could give it another once over, I'd gladly buy it that afternoon). He explained it was his first week, and he too could tell the car was driving quite stubborn, then laughed it off and let me walk away that night. We've all been new at jobs, it's awkward, I get it. But he knew nothing and instead of saying "I'm not sure, but I'll ask for you!" He kept saying "I dont know, I'm new".
I wound up at the BMW AutoNation a few days later and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. I wound up buying the Scion from them for the most part. They said they'd get me floor mats (as mine were missing) and a FOB key as the car didn't have one on their keychain. Hours later they discovered I'd need to actually go back to Toyota in order to get the 7 year warranty. Another few hours later I drove off in my car, but never got the fob key. Toyota told me I'd have to pay extra for one to be duplicated. For a newer car and $18,000 one would assume you could unlock your door without using the true key. Not the end of the world, but my ancient CRV even had one. I'd really prefer to not scratch up my door at night coming and going.
Anyway. I love my Scion. It was just quite the run around.
