| - I haven't been to many Vegas buffets in a while but The Wicked Spoon seems to offer a great variety for its price.
We were here for 'weekend dinner,' which was $49 before tax and tip. I would recommend coming here early on a non holiday weekend around 5-6pm to avoid a long wait. Once you pay, there is a second line to wait for a table. If you don't play your cards right, you can easily spend 2 hours in a line if they're busy.
The Wicked Spoon tries to limit its dishes in being presented in mass quantity. They try really hard in plating their bites of food into pretty dishes so it looks gourmet and portion sized. Some of my favorites for the savory dishes include bone marrow, shrimp cocktail, crab ceviche, squid ink linguini, and prime rib with chimichurri sauce.
I love their made to order seafood soup station. You can choose to make a combo from salmon, some white fish, clams, mussels and/or shrimp in white wine garlic or bouillabaisse (tomato) sauce. I got two giant bowls of the white wine garlic sauce with shrimp, clams, and mussels. It was amazing!
They also have cute desserts such as giant chocolate covered strawberries and an assortment of gelatos. I LOVED their Thai tea gelato and strawberry balsamic gelato.
They also have happy hour from 5 - 7 pm daily. $5 mojitos are the best! In their regular hours, they have bottomless white or red wine or PBR for $15. If you drink at least 2-3 glasses, then you would get your money's worth. However, the waitress does take a while serving the whole area so you might not necessarily get to take advantage.
