Mooredale Sailing Club is a community sailing club by Cherry Beach, Toronto. The club has a unique learn to sail program that combines the professionalism of certified instructors and the coaching from our experienced members. Most of the members have joined the club without any prior sailing experience. Mooredale Sailing Club is a unique place: strong from a 40-year of experience, the club has build up a fleet of close to 30 club owned sailboats that are freely accessible to all the members (2012 membership is $599 for new members, $449 for returning members and $399 only for full time students). Beginner sailing lessons are included in the membership fee.
Mooredale Sailing Club offers sailing lessons in Toronto for beginners and also advanced sailing lessons and an extensive learn to race program in a very friendly atmosphere. Dinghy sailing is a fantastic sport, that is accessible to all, just a few minutes from downtown Toronto. Strategy, tactics, physical exercise, human experience: sailing is a great adventure! I personally joined Mooredale Sailing Club 5 years ago, and learned sailing at the club with very experienced sailors and passionate racers. Mooredale Sailing Club is a unique place. We participate in the largest one design (meaning everybody sail the same type of boats) race series in North America.
