  • I want to start out with the positives: The staff working for M resort are FANTASTIC! Every department is flourishing with individuals who love their job and go the extra mile. Also, the pool was amazing! We spent 1 whole day by the pool and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Now for the negatives: My partner and i were super excited about staying here but once we arrived we wished other wise. We walked to the front desk for check in and were immediately told the non smoking, king room we booked were gone and now had the choice between a smoking king room or a room with 2 queen size beds. Neither of those were an option as my partner and i were here celebrating and can't stand rooms that smell like cigarettes. After a quick back and forth we were then upgraded, thankfully. Once we got settled in our room, i noticed what appeared to be a blood stain on our sheets which was completely unacceptable. I called downstairs and asked for out linens to be changed and then left. After a few hours, we came back and noticed our linens were changed and the front desk left us 4 chocolate covered strawberries, super nice. The following day i was taking a shower (without my glasses i'm blind), and didn't realize the shower head was broken and was squirting over the shower door and drenched everything in the bathroom. Again, we called downstairs and a super friendly gentleman came up and fixed it, quickly. After ALL of this i still didn't loose my mind until right before check out i was going through the entire room making sure we didn't leave anything behind and noticed a condom wrapper under the bed. I was absolutely disgusted and felt as if the room wasn't properly cleaned. Yes, i complained and 1 of our 2 nights were complimentary but it doesn't change the fact that every time i was in the room, i felt irritated. I would NOT stay here again. It is not convenient or cheap but i was okay with that because the hotel looked spectacular but with all the issues that arose, i would rather stay elsewhere.
