  • I love Sun Wood Apartment complex! I have lived here for a little over a year. The front office staff is the most friendly and helpful that I have ever seen at any complex, Sharon and Janet are excellent! There are many pro's to this community. The apartments are large with huge walk in closets. AC and heating works really well. The maintenance is very good. There is a very comfy meeting room with computer access and quite a few events are offered. A pool and hot tub are on site as well. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. That is probably the one thing I love most is the quietness of the place. I feel like I am in a rural environment even though it is only a 7 minute drive to the 101. There is pretty good insulation between the apartments, I rarely hear my neighbors. Cleanliness is really important to me and although they are older apartments, they are well kept and no problems with bugs/insects. Neighbors are nice as well. The only drawback for me is that I miss having a washer/dryer right in my apartment. There are two laundry complexes on the apartment grounds though. This complex is a 55+ apartment complex, just fyi.
